What our high tea fundraiser means to me

In case you'd like a little more background on what we do, Imagine Re-Evolution is a not-for-profit I founded back in 2022, born out of a simple but powerful belief: that every young person has something extraordinary in them, and that it takes a whole village to help them find it.

We work with young people aged 12–25, creating programs that sit at the intersection of community connection, creative upcycling, and intergenerational mentorship. It's hands-on, hearts-in work and the need for it has only grown. Since 2021, school disengagement in Victoria has risen by 50%, and over the past three years we've had more than 700 young people come through our programs, reconnecting with education, with community, and with themselves.

Everything we do is underpinned by a belief that everyone and everything has purpose. That includes the young people who feel like they're falling through the gaps, and the materials that might otherwise end up in landfill.

The High Tea on 3 May is our way of bringing the village together to celebrate what's possible when a community chooses to show up, and to help us keep doing this work for the young people who need it most.
